3 credits This is a study in the fundamentals of acting with emphasis on the principles of observation, concentration, sense-memory, and dramatic action. These skills will be developed through voice exercise, pantomimes, improvisations, monologues, short skits, and plays. Students will be required to rehearse and perform several scenes in order to develop skills in serious and comic characterizations. Prerequisites: RDG100, ENG100 or placement. Fall.
