2 credits This course introduces the student to basic principles of diseases of the head and oral cavity. The basis of instructions is derived from the paradigm of oral health and its juxtaposition to disease. Common pathology, such as genetic disorders, oral manifestations of systemic diseases, oral cancer, leukoplakia, and nicotinic stomatitis are covered in detail. Prerequisites: DHY106, 107, and 108, ENG102, PSY105.Co-requisites: DHY02, 203, 204, and 205.
