Emphasis is on the influence of television, film, radio, the Internet, and the print media in such areas as entertainment, news, politics, advertising, popular culture, and human behavior. (Not open to students in the Broadcasting and Electronic Media curriculum.) Prerequisites: ENG100, RDG100, or placement. Offered occasionally.
