This course is designed for practicing Paramedics (EMT-P) to renew and update information related to their practice. The course will focus on medical and trauma management techniques that have changed or been updated. This course is designed to follow current New York State Department of Health guidelines and curriculum for Paramedic refresher courses. Prerequisite: EMT- Paramedic Certification or equivalent, or permission of instructor. 3.5 cr. 3 Lec., .5 lab. (Per Departmental Standards Version of EMS 193, approved by Academic Affairs on 03/22/2007).
