Description:
An introductory course for students interested in owning a business. Financial obligations, procedures, policies, and their relationships to lending institutions will be explored. Issues on local zoning, location selection, customer traffic and need will be investigated. Students will be required to successfully simulate the idea creation of a new business and will take that simulated business through to a successful first year of operations. Students will also develop a five-year business plan. (Fall semester). 3 cr. 3 Lec.
