This course is designed for practicing Critical Care Technicians (EMT-CC) to renew and update information related to their practice. The course will focus on medical and trauma management techniques that have changed or been updated. This course is designed to follow current New York State Department of Health guidelines and curriculum for Critical Care refresher courses. Prerequisite: EMT- Critical Care Certification or equivalent, or permission of instructor. 3 cr. 2.5 Lec., 1.5 lab. (Per Departmental Standards Version of EMS 192, approved by Academic Affairs on 04/19/2007).
