Description:
This course is the study of mammals including identification, taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, reproduction, and behavior. Special emphasis will be placed on identification and ecology of species native to northern New York. Lecture and laboratory activities will be supplemented by required field trips. Collection, museum preparation, and care of specimens will be considered. Prerequisites: BIO 111 or 112 or 131 or 132. 4 cr. 3 Lec. 3 Lab.
