Description:
This course is the study of birds including identification, taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, reproduction, and behavior. Special emphasis will be placed on identification and ecology of species native to northern New York. Conservation and diversity of bird species will be considered. Lecture and laboratory activities will be supplemented by required field trips. Prerequisites: BIO 111, 112, 131 or 132. 4 cr. 3 Lec. 3 Lab.
