Description:
The study of the structure and functions of the human body begins with examination of the molecular and cellular units of the body organs. Groups of body organs in turn make up the functional units known as systems. In this first course, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, lymphatic and respiratory systems will be studied in detail. Prerequisites: High school biology, college level biology, or permission of the instructor; some chemistry background recommended. 4 cr. 3 Lec. 3 Lab.
