Credits: 4 Catalog Description: Solves drafting problems using advanced drawing techniques. Compares CAD methods and manual drafting techniques. Areas of study include projection of surfaces, secondary auxiliary views, basic tolerancing, determining classes of fits, sheet metal drafting, geometric tolerancing, threads and fasteners, and metric practices. Requires completion of formal detailed drawings demonstrating manual drawing skills and advanced problem solving and visualization skills, following ANSI standards. Two class hours, four laboratory hours. Prerequisite: EGR101.
