Introduces concepts and topics in human heredity such as: the structure and function of genes and chromosomes, the role of meiosis in mutation, gamete formation, and reproduction. Does not fulfill the science requirement for science majors. Not open to students with credit in BIO 205(Introduction to Genetics).Two class hours and two lab hours. Prerequisite: MAT 091 or higher.
