Credits: 3 Catalog Description: Continues the development of receptive and expressive communications skills in American Sign Language introduced in ASL101. Introduces new sign vocabulary and principles in a supervised, structured environment. Focuses on simultaneous communication, Deaf education, and other topics of interest to the class. Emphasizes ability to use and understand basic Sign in context at the high novice level. Prerequisite: ASL101, or the completion of an assessment test given by the instructor. Instructor determines final placement.
