Prerequisites: Mathematics Placement Exam. This course will begin with a review of selected arithmetic topics: fractions, decimals, and percentages, followed by a brief review of signed number operations. The course will cover topics of Basic Algebra I: variable expressions; linear equations, inequalities and applications; graphing points and lines; and systems of linear equations. Course may not be applied to a certifi cate or degree program.
