An interdisciplinary course emphasizing transformation and transition of the United States and the world as we move into the twenty-first century. Through participative education, students assist in topic selection. Considerable reading and class discussion are utilized to assist students in thinking and acting on a rapidly changing environment. Guest lecturers, films, projects, and field trips augment the course. Prerequisite: 6 hours in social science. ( 3 semester hours) Fall
