This course is an in-depth study of fundamental concepts and principles of psychology that have broad applicability to classroom practice. Topics include the nature of learning as it relates to children and adolescents; cognitive and linguistic development; personal, social and moral development; individual and group differences; special needs; instructional strategies; and classroom management.
