An introduction in the field of the psychology of women. This course serves a dual purpose: 1) the deconstruction of traditional psychological knowledge of women and a reconstruction of a more comprehensive psychology of women, and 2) the investigation of psychological and sociological influences on the developing psyche and behavior patterns of the female with a focus on the interaction of the female with her environment. Prerequisite: PY 101. ( 3 semester hours) Spring
