This is a college level math course intended for students in technical programs. Students will gain an understanding of how mathematics is used in the workplace by learning mathematics in the context of real applications. Students will generate data and analyze data by constructing mathematical models. Topics include linear, quadratic, trigonometric and exponential functions. Note: A graphing calculator is required. A TI-83 plus will be used in the classroom and is recommended. Prerequisite: Elementary Algebra (MA 100). ( 3 semester hours) Fall
