A study of the composition of Earth's crustal materials, processes of change, geologic time, plate tectonics, and sociologic and economic impact. Laboratory will include field trips, rock and mineral identification, and use of topographic and geologic maps. Note: Prior knowledge of high school earth science and/or chemistry recommended.
