This course takes an in-depth look at the network security concepts and techniques. Students will be introduced to a practical, hands-on approach to securing networks and information from unauthorized access. Other topics will include identifying types of attacks, methods used by attackers, protecting e-mail systems, securing internet systems and implementing security policies. This course will follow the CompTIA's Security+ certification standards. Prerequisite: CS 156. ( 0 lecture hour) (3 semester hours) Spring
