This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure, and troubleshoot the Windows 2000 Active Directory components, DNS for Active Directory, and Active Directory security solutions. In addition, students learn how to manage, monitor, and optimize the desktop environment by using Group Policy. Additionally, students will learn typical network services and applications including file and print, database, messaging, proxy server or firewall, dial-in server, desktop management, and Web hosting. Prerequisite: CS 156. ( 3 semester hours) Spring
