For the student who has completed a basic course in black-and-white photography. Emphasis is on technical aspects as well as the establishment of individual viewpoint and style. Instruction in techniques includes the choice of papers and paper developers, intensification and reduction of negatives and prints, toning of prints, and the use of available and artificial light. A series of individualized assignments fosters personal viewpoint and direction. Students should expect to spend approximately $250 for supplies and additional time in the photography lab. Note: Repeat of CO 113, AR 131 . Prerequisite: AR 130. ( 2 lecture hours/2 studio hours) (3 semester hours) Spring
