This course is designed to cover Toyota manufacture specific and other general manufacture advanced systems. It is intended to develop the skills, knowledge and professional ethics required to service and diagnose antilock braking systems, computer-controlled suspension systems, climate control systems, manual and automatic transmissions. Special emphasis is placed on personal and shop safety, component identification, use of service information, special service tools and equipment, and interpretation of data and specific diagnostic techniques. This course meets the Toyota T-TEN and College-Based Automotive degree requirements. Prerequisite: AU 128, AU 129, AU130 and AU 132. ( 2 lecture hours/6 lab hours) (4 semester hours) Spring
