An introductory course for students with little or no experience in video production. Students will develop the ability to produce, direct and edit digital and VHS video. Students will explore the creative possibilities of combining image with audio in a time-based medium to create digital desktop videos, while also learning traditional analog editing technologies. Students will work both individually and in teams to produce narrative, commercial and experimental videos. Prerequisite: AR 140 . ( 2 lecture hours/2 studio hours) (3 semester hours) Fall
