Fundamental principles, applications and limitations of instrumental methods of analysis; spectroscopic methods (UV-Visible, Infrared, NMR, Fluorescence, atomic absorption, flame emission). Mass spectrometry, electrochemical methods, and chromatographic techniques. Laboratory: analytical procedure, techniques, and practice using representative instruments.
