This course is an introduction to costuming for the theater, television and film. Topics included: fabrics, sewing, wardrobe observations, color coordination, script analysis and basic drawing. Students will participate in the design and construction of costumes for Golden West College productions and will work on the production wardrobe crew. This course is required for students planning to transfer to California State University, Long Beach and Fullerton. Lecture & lab. Optional pass/no pass or grade. Transferable to CSU; UC.
