(Formerly known as: Television Production and Operations 104AB) This course provides students with theory and comprehensive, hands-on instruction in techniques and procedures used in electronic movie making. This course is designed for the filmmaker who is interested in producing a full length feature film, a short film for festivals, corporate or educational video. Topics include preproduction planning, scripting, budgeting, lighting, audio, editing graphics, copyright and legal concerns and distribution. Students are not required to have their own equipment. This course may be taken 2 times. Lecture & lab. Optional pass/no pass or grade. Transferable to CSU.
