This is a survey course emphasizing basic concepts of cell biology, animal and plant physiology, genetics and evolution, and plant, animal and human ecology. This course is specifically designed for non-science majors and is recommended to meet the general education breadth requirements. A traditional format may be followed on lectures, demonstrations, and laboratories may be integrated into the learning system. Lecture & lab. Letter grade only. UC Credit limitations: No credit if taken after Biology 180; maximum credit of one course for Biology G100 and G100H. Transferable to CSU; UC.
