(Formerly known as: AUTO 141AB) This is a course of study designed to provide students with theoretical studies and lab experiments in automotive suspension and steering system and related components. It also includes front-end alignment, tire repair, wheel balancing, diagnosis of stability control and traction control components, manual and power steering service. Information presented prepares students for the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A-4 Suspension and Steering Certification Examination. This course may be taken 2 times. Lecture & lab. Letter grade only. Transferable to CSU.
