(Formerly known as: AUTO C050AD) An introductory course for students interested in automotive body sheet metal restoration. Skills attainment include shaping damaged sheet metal, fabrication of small replacement parts as well as oxy-acetylene and metal inert gas (MIG) welding. Shop safety is emphasized and students are expected to provide protective clothing and appropriate safety devices. This course may be taken 4 times. Lecture & lab. Optional pass/no pass or grade.
