(Formerly known as: Television Production and Operations 152) (Same as: Theater Arts G110) Instruction in acting for the camera. The course will discuss basic acting techniques when using the media. While television will be our media of format, we will also apply acting techniques to film as well. The course will also discuss in depth the business of show business and the information the actor needs to succeed in the industry. Lecture & lab. Letter grade only. Transferable to CSU; UC.
