Introduction to techniques of generating graphic images with computers utilizing CADKEY software in an IBM-PC environment. Computer hardware/software topics include CADKEY overview, computer terminology, hardware descriptions and requirements, file manipulation and management. Using CADKEY for 2D and 3D geometric construction, symbol library creation, scaling and plotting, sectioning, primary and secondary auxiliary views, developments, detail and assembly drawings, and the techniques of dimensioning including tolerance studies. Introduction to CADKEY Utilities. Prerequisite: CAD* 133. (Formerly CAD 111: CADKEY.)
