The fundamentals of machine dictation and transcription. Students transcribe and format unfamiliar business-related material, from audio cassettes, error-free. The elements of proofreading, English grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and review of business document formats are stressed. (Formerly BOT 211: Machine Transcription/Editing.) Prerequisite: BOT* 111 or Challenge Exam.
