This course uses a hands-on approach as a continuation course, enabling students to develop employable skills using Microsoft Word. Students will learn a variety of advanced features such as merging documents including the use of Outlook data source, sorting and selecting data; formatting with special features; adding visual elements and creating Web Pages; formatting with macros and styles; working with shared documents; sharing data; creating specialized tables and indexes; using XML in Word and PowerPoint integration activities. Students will also use the Internet throughout the course. (Formerly BOT 250: Word Processing II.) Prerequisite: Successful completion of Word Processing Applications.
