The study of community organizations and their method of practice. The objective is to analyze the practice of planning and implementation of social services programs directed toward some component of community change. The skills, methods and organizational functions of community service workers are explored and integrated into the other skills and methods of social service practice that are a part of a student's overall learning experience in the human services program. (Formerly HSER 201.) Prerequisite: HSE* 101.
