Develops problem-solving skills necessary to successful independent careers. Students explore different types of problems, learn various thinking skills, and develop communications abilities. Most class work is done in small groups to enhance group problem-solving skills. Innovative thinking techniques are woven into the course. Problems and problem analysis are presented from an organizational perspective. Extensive writing required. Normally offered during the spring. (Formerly HUM 250.)
