Basic facts and principles of physics. Elementary concepts of calculus are used. Classical dynamics, rigid body motion, harmonic motion, wave motion, acoustics, relativistic dynamics, and thermodynamics. Students will be able to transfer to UConn only two of the four credits awarded for this course if they have already received credit for PHY* 121. (Formerly PHYS 151: Engineering Physics I.) Corequisites: PHY* 110 or secondary school physics and MAT* 268.
