Introductory level studio course in Sculpture. Provides broad understanding of sculptural techniques and aesthetics through demonstrations and visual aids. Includes modeling a relief in clay, terra cotta figure sculpting and portrait sculpting, assemblage and an introduction to carving. Firing and finishing techniques are also included. Strong emphasison developing a personal, artistic vision. Grades:Option (A-F).
