Natural history of the Central Mojave Desert. This two-day field trip class will provide first-hand experience seeing remains of archaeological and historical sites from the pleistocence (ice age) to the present, including petroglyph sites, Newberry Cave, Camp Cady, Spanish Canyon, Early Man Site, and old trails from Indian footpaths to the Mormon road. 31 hours total including field trip.
