Prerequisite: AUTO 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, or 68 with a "C" grade or better or concurrent enrollment. Designed to provide the student with a working knowledge of diesel engine overhaul procedures. It includes general and pre-teardown inspection procedures, engine disassembly, component measurement and evaluation, reassembly, final adjustment and "run-in" procedures. The course will prepare the student to enter the diesel job market with a working knowledge of diesel engine overhaul procedures. Grades: Option (A-F), P/NP.
