Prerequisite: AUTO 63 with a "C" grade or better. Designed to provide the student with a working knowledge of diesel fuel-injection systems. It includes: types of fuel systems, requirements of fuel systems, safety precautions, basic operating principles, hands-on repair, service procedures for several different types of fuel injectors and nozzles, and hands-on testing of selected fuel injectors. It also provides the student with a hands-on knowledge of fuel-injection equipment, tools, and test equipment. Grades: Option (A-F), P/NP.
