Theory in rules, regulation & sanitation, professional image, bacteriology, and fundamentals of manicuring/ pedicuring are taught by lecture and demonstration with supervised work practice. In order to meet state requirements for testing, students must have a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED); or have completed the 10th grade and passed an ability to benefit test (ATB) and is at least 17 years old.
