Combines the study of methods and materials necessary for tutoring with supervised practice in applying these concepts through the process of conducting individual and small-group tutorial sessions. Emphasis on tutoring students from a wide variety of backgrounds with focus on psychological and social factors fundamental to learning, orientation to materials and resources, and development of effective interpersonal skills. May be repeated (unlimited). Students may enroll in course up to 270 hours. Open Entry/Open Exit. Non-Degree/Non-Credit.
