Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese breathing exercise with meditation which is being developed today for therapy of chronic illness and stress in China. Although the physiological side effects produced by Qi Gong resemble those of meditation, there are certain features that are unique, effective and often mysterious. The course will cover the theory, practice, physical and physiological relaxation and other benefits of breathing meditation. May be taken four times for credit. Grades: P/NP.
