Lec-3, lab-3 PREREQ.: BCST 140 or 145 or FILM 24, plus BCST 119, IDST 120 or CS 100M, or demonstration of their exit skills Repeat: max. 6 units Digital video editing for video and film projects using industry standard AVID Xpress and Media Composer software on a Macintosh platform. Organizing the video edit, routing a networked video signal, digitizing video signal, creating the EDL, editing theory, editing principles, editing aesthetics, titling and 2D/3D effects, and output of final product from network to videotape. Students compete several short video editing projects. CSU
