Lec-2, lab-3 P/NP available PREREQ.: TIEE 9576, or TIEE 9571 and TIEE 9572, or demonstration of TIEE 9576 exit skills Advise: TIXX 9704, 9705 and 9706 or demonstration of TIEE 9576 exit skills Many reports including CCSF's own Center of Excellence have documented the high demand for an applied training course in PV installation. Our construction department has the required expertise in carpentry and electrical applications this new course requires. The Building and Construction Department is working closely with the Mayor's Office of Workforce and Economic Development (MOEWD) to meet the needs of local employers in this sector. The goal of this course is to prepare students to pass the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) exam, currently the only recognized industry standard for PV installers. CSU
