The focus will be on African, Asian, Caribbean, and Latina perspectives of health beliefs, health practices, physical and psychological threats, ethical issues. Body image, sexuality, marriage customs, reproduction, childbirth, parenting, lifestyle choices, menopause, and aging will be examined within the context of culture and contrasted to those of western women.
