Lec-3 The course will introduce the student to the impact of drug production and trafficking and their collective influence on the relationship between Latin America, Mexico and the United States; evaluate past and current U.S. drug policy and initiatives and law enforcement strategies; study the link between transnational organized crime and the drug cartels and the extent of the connection between drug production, drug trafficking, insurgency and terrorism in Latin America and Mexico.
