Lec-5, lab-16 (6 wks) PREREQ.: VOCN 23 Critical thinking concepts and principles serve as the framework for the application of advanced nursing skills and procedures essential to meeting the physical, psychological, and social needs of the medical/surgical patient. The student will be introduced to the causes of disease; the body's response to disease; and the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
