This course is not ordinarily counted in the Associate in Arts degree. This course consists of lecture and practical application to prepare certified divers in the processes and techniques required to maintain and repair modern scuba equipment, such as regulators, buoyancy compensators, and scuba tanks. Nationally recognized certification as a basic open water scuba diver is a requirement for enrollment in this course and will be verified by the instructor at the first class.
