Description:

This course is not ordinarily counted in the Associate in Arts degree. This is an extensive course for training persons in open water recreational diving. Students will be expected to supply their own snorkeling equipment. Satisfactory completion of this course leads to internationally recognized scuba certification. Students must demonstrate satisfactory swimming ability, physical stamina and emotional stability to instructor at the first lab. Medical certificate may be required.
